Clothing Closet & Food Pantry

Cypress mobilized for the community of Asbury Park in restoring, The Ford Center, clothing closet & food pantry. The Ford center is run by the Bethel AME Church and holds a very prominent place in Asbury's history. Fats Waller and Andy Razaf wrote the Grammy Hall of Fame song "Honeysuckle Rose" that would be recorded by nearly 500 artists. Cypress installed a brass plaque to commemorate the dedication of the property. The food pantry and the clothing closet has undergone many renovations and is open to the public.
